A small pond was excavated near this temple. There is a trident located at centre of this pond. The Jhadeswar Mandir (temple) pond has four ferries which situated on four different sides. Water of this pond is offered at the temple. There are plenty of fishes in this pond and this is one of the major attractions of tourist. Visitors feed food (which includes biscuits, flour, fruits) to fishes and they come close to visitors that they touch them on their hands and that make them happy.

The place is also home to different type of indigenous as well as migratory birds hence an ideal place for bird watching.

SOCIO-RELIGIOUS SIGNIFICANCE:

There isn’t any social or religious significance in the pond it’s free for all everyone’s usability as it’s made in tribute to lord Shiva. Yes, here some popular festivals like Kartik Purnima are held then immersion of statues of god also been done here and in the shiva night, mini wooden boats are children’s roam in the pond.

 ECONOMIC SIGNIFICANCE:  

As it is called Nimohai ka Pani which means it has no limit on the water so during drought and during water scarcity time people take water from here for farming.

What is the current condition?

It is now used for people’s generic use not for temples. Nowadays water for the temple is taken from bore well. 

 Any efforts to clean up or rejuvenate the water body?

There is a development committee namely Jhadeswar Mandir Bikash Parishad who usually do cleanliness of the pond.
