When was it built? Who built it? Please narrate if there is any story associated with this waterbody. For example: a king or a zamindar dug it for the queen/mother/wife; or this was dug because someone saw a dream; or, a landlord built it for a specific purpose that was considered sacred; or, anything like that. This is a water body created by govt to break the damage of soil and road due to rain flood. It is situated near mathiliamba village. It is look like a small dam, basically it is made to help the people of the mathiliamba people to store rain water in rainy season. Most of the people depend upon the water body in many reason like bathing, farming, and it help the animal to drink in summer session. It is made because every year the road form laxmipur to narayan patna has been damaged due to the rain flood from the hill.

For example, there is a temple where they organise an yearly festival/yatra/mela, etc; some traditional rituals/festivals are performed in this particular waterbody only and no other waterbodies of the same locality, and the reason thereof; it is believed that bathing in this waterbody heals your sins (example: Papchei ghat on Mahanadi river in Binka of Sonepur district); or anything that the people relate to this waterbody.
ECONOMIC SIGNIFICANCE:
Narrate if this is a dominant irrigation structure that feeds into crop fields during drought or even during kharif season; if fisher folks are highly dependent on this waterbody for their livelihood; or there is any other such economic importance of this waterbody.
This water body is full help the people of mathiliamba people. Many people are directly and indirectly depend upon the water body in different reason like farming, fishering and bathing. Except this many animal and birds are living in the hills and forest around the water body so they all are depend on this water body. So it is big concern to clean the water and reuse.

When we go there for survey we found it is polluted. Now nobody is taking care of the pond and it is not a condition for use. Previously everybody use this water body but due to pollution nobody is use this. It is full of mud and dry leafs and algae.

- There are many good reasons for water purification. Clean water is essential for human being and animals. When we clean muddy ponds water it would be very useful for the local people as well as visitors. It also useful for the animal lived in the jungle.
