Well everyone does that, but perhaps we should care a lot more. The theme of this year’s World Toilet Day concerns Valuing Toilets and people value using it.

On the event of World Toilet Day, UNICEF& Youth4Water took the initiative to celebrate World Toilet Day by organizing the panel discussion at Doordarshan with this year’s theme is about ‘Valuing Toilets’ by Mr. Satyabrata Behura moderator and anchor at Doordarshan.

To tackle the global sanitation crisis and achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.To highlight, the issue “Do people bother about their Toilets?” the answer highlighted by 3 key speakers namely WASH expert Mr. Narendra Singh Chouhan, Mrs. Baby Nayak, community mobilizer for Water Aid India and Mr. Alok Kumar Sahu a social youth.

Beby Nayak quoted “Prevention is better than Cure” people mainly follow open defecation by digging out a small pit It might create trouble so, to make them understand that open defecation  in coming days its create a lot of health hazards.

What role Youth can play? One stand to many; likewise people should make use and allow others to understand the use of sanitation and hygiene in our livelihood; emphasised by Alok

So, on the account of World Toilet Day the message was evident that “Life like a Toilet Paper long and life long.”
